Precious Paws grooming hours are Monday - Sunday- By appointment - Flexiable hours that work with your schedule. You may leave your pet while they are being groomed or you may wait in our waiting room. Length for grooming each dog is different please inquire about the length of time for your pet/s. Grooming services can also be scheduled while your dog is here for boarding.
We treat each dog as an individual with unique needs and styling requirements. Coat thickness, condition and length, as well as special health or temperament issues, must be discussed to ensure the safety of each pet. Grooming Process & Tips:
• Take your dog to the bathroom before they come into the Salon.
• Brushing your dogs can reduce matting of the coat.
• Introduce your dog to the grooming process by brushing, getting them used to being handled by playing with their paws and ears, etc.. Nail trimming relieves pain, discomfort and prevents the foot from becoming distorted causing your dog to walk unnaturally. Ear cleaning prevents ear infection that could lead to a more serious problem with your pet. Ear plucking is the hair to be plucked from the inner ear to prevent ear infection and/or more serious problems. Brushing helps remove any light tangles, matting or flaky skin as well as stimulating circulation, which helps to keep the skin and coat healthy.
