About Precious Paws
Precious Paws is located 10 minutes from Portage, WI., and just 12 minutes from Wisconsin Dells, WI. Precious Paws is a family run business owned and operated by Tracy Kapp. Tracy has two years experience as a Veterinary Assistant and she has been a groomer for over 8 years. She has rescued and placed many animals in loving homes throughout the years. Tracy has also done charity grooming for animals in need.
Upon arrival your dog will be taken outside to our play area. Your dog will be let outside several times daily in a our play area with toys and individual attention. You are welcome to bring your own bedding for your dog; please make sure that all bedding is cleaned and laundered to help promote our facilities clean and healthy environment. Each dog will have play sessions during the day. Dogs will be let out one last time in the evening, given a treat and then put to bed. When the dogs awake in the morning they will start their day all over again.
Your dog will eat according to the schedule which you provide at 
check in. We require that you bring your own dog food to ease your dogs transition into boarding and to prevent any digestive problems. All dogs are required to be up-to-date on shots and using flea prevention.
Precious Paws has a full service-grooming department for all your pet’s needs. We can schedule grooming around your dog’s stay. We provide grooming to all breeds of dogs.
Our goal at Precious Paws is to treat your dog like the special companions they are. Your pet's health, safety and comfort are of utmost importance. We know that your pet is a member of your family and we promise to make him or her feel safe and comfortable while in our care.
The pets that are entrusted to Precious Paws are treated the way that Tracy would want her own pets treated. The dogs are allowed freedom to play during their stay at Precious Paws. When your pet is in our care, we are totally devoted to them. We do whatever we can to make everyone involved happy, comfortable and worry-free. We do our very best to provide services where the safety of the pets come first.
